From what I just read, and taking into account the price I was just quoted for new slides, it looks like I'm going to be trying some real voodoo with Gorilla glue.
Already did, that's why I say Gorilla glue. Someone tested it on nitrile gloves, and it's apparently worked for some people. No telling how long, but I can't afford to put it back on the road any other way right now.
