Just for you Dave, I will warranty it against not leaking oil, which these Japanese bikes are prone to do. If it doesn't, I'll come over and drip some under it personally, from time to time.
Joiner--did you want the VIN number to mine? I can email you that if you want.
Crap, to check the VIN, the DOT wants me to fill out a form, add a check for $5 and mail it in. I will wait till I am surer of the bike I want before I do all of that.

I would make more parting it out, but I need a lump sum now, and I'm afraid of getting rid of the tank might make it harder to sell.

Well if ya change you're mind...I know he'd be on that tank in a second. I just plugged a few bucks into my steed otherwise i'd buy the thing.
