Found a good stretch of off roadable on Old Sherman, right by Tinny Park (first pic), and then another fun one on Mendota st, right off of E Wash. It's all on the near east side...
Ill have to take a trip over. I will post up some pics of the one by the cinema. Its more just a quarry used for ground fill, I was pushing the KLR on it though. Just take a right by Uno's and its at the end of the road.
Tom..do you want some help trying to get this urban enduro going? While I certainly aint no city hall fat cat, I do have some decent connections through the permitting world. I would love to see this take off and would certainly help out in any way i can.
I think we should take a few sunday mornings and do a little exploring, could be fun. eh? Cup of coffee, quick punch off the little red rocket, then look for gravel :). The problem I ran into with a organized urban enduro is that this entire fucking city is paved, not one dirt road in a 200 mile radius (that I know of). If we can come up with enough decent, yet challenging routes, that are still at least somewhat legal, we move ahead?
Dave Oates bought a really nice one at the Jefferson swap last fall for what, $38.00? He knows what they come from as well, I can't remember what he said...

not intentionally... It's an old headlight yanked from a Puch moped with a cheapo car headlight bulb JB welded in it.
I'm trying to figure out the source of the yellow lights I keep seeing (pictures of) on choppers.
