So I cheated with some HOK

After spraying the base metallic green, that just wasnt enough for me so.....
I busted out some Spanish Gold HOK Kandy to give it more of a gold hue. Notice how green it looks here compared to the pic below when its outside.
Way golder than it looks in person but my excuse is that yellow is a Suzuki color so it works
Now the questions is whether to leave it all gloss or to wet sand it down for a matte finish??

I like the color! I wouldn't matte it, but thats just me.

Fixed your post. Not sure what was going on.

I think I'm going to panel it out and sand down the sections to matte and leave the rest gloss...then stripe the edge.

Prolly doing this Thursday...why dont we do a thurs at my shop this week. Tom/Aaron you guys need to get out here anyway:)

Think we could get two birds with one stone and you cut me a little vinyl while I'm out there? Maybe I'll zip towards the end of the day and we could do it, then while you go have din din with the fam damily I'll go skate... We'll figure something out...

@Tom, yeah man that would work out great. Just call me tomorrow anytime.

Just got back from my buddies shop who sanded and buffed it out...looks like glass now...and he did it for freeee!!

I was going to vote for a mile of clear, but with panels the matte could be a nice contrast. Nah, I'd still just put it all under as much clearcoat as will fit on there.

Too late..my mind is made up, leaving the majority gloss with the matted panels with a lighter gold/green stripe...unless I do a rasberryish stripe but that will likely be too much contrast against the gold...want the graphics to be subtle.

Aaron if you make it out tomorrow, which I hope you do, you'll see the mile of clear thats already on it...my friend Todd made that shit look like glass with his DA and his buffer!

oh and the neat thing about doing a sanded matte is that if I dont like I can buff it out...
