Idle hands

I really should not take time off work, it leads to obsessive Craigslist watching. This thing is a behemoth. I bet the fairing alone weighs over 100lbs. The price was right though....

Damn, that's a nice looking bike! Hope you got it off of the trailer alright!

Dan, you mean Schweet in a huge cushy grandpa touring bike kinda way, right?

Getting it off the trailer was easy thanks to working brakes, aired up tires and Dan's ramp (all things the CB didn't have...)

Yeah as in it would be "schweet" if it got the Ben treatment...

Neat! What will you do with it? If it were mine I'd probably keep it just like that, and maybe start smoking a pipe and wearing tweed stuff. You probably think I'm joking more than I am.

Aaron, I will probably do just as you described. And at the crud and other motorcycle events I will look upon the cafe racer crowd with contempt and motion them to the back of the lot.

wasn't it you who said something to the effect that it's mandatory for BMW riders to be assholes? I'm sure you know this, but if you decide to flip this bike it will be exponentially more valuable if you put travel stickers on the hardbags. You can get them on ebay...

Except Dennie and Jaime...not assholes. Quit trying to get me in trouble Tom. Maybe I can get Dan to print me up some of those travel stickers.

Yes I can and you can start making up stories about the many different states this bike has seen so you are well prepped when you tell the story to the potential buyers.
