That exhaust is kinda wild. I wonder if it offers any kind of backpressure benefit?

Sorry abou tthe previous post, just sharing my pain!

Ive seen this bike way too many times whoring the web for inspiration. Big question is how functional those rear shocks are with the fender so tight on the rear wheel. Super rad bike though!

After Ben's last post I think I am going pro-street on the XS...

Yeah, not a fan of the exhaust...wondered if the design added any functionality to it as far as back pressure.

I guess there are bikes you would see often if you were searching for XS650's and building one...I don't so its new to me and I kinda dig it. How do you know that fender isn't mounted to the swingarm?

Well I dont but I would think that would be weird to have the back of your seat banging into you ass everything the shocks compressed. Plus there cant be much room between the tire itself and the bottom of the seat pan at least from looking at this pic anyways. But when it boils down to it I really dont know my ass from a hole in the ground!

the exhaust is gay and that is the only purpose it serves. that and maybe he wants to tell the world how much he adores zz top. I like the bike tho, just not the over-worked pipes.

I deleted my first post after I realized it was a zz and not a ss, even tho I think it's his play on an ss which is retarded and horrible and nazi fucks should die.

zz top should die too if they havent already.

ha! true that!

The whole subframe is suspended. the back shock is a fake and full of the green stuff. the real shock is a mono under the gas tank.

Hey now Billy Gibbons is a true gearhead!

I think jason jesse had pipes like that first on his pan, unless I'm confusing it with another bike. Anyway, if these are the same, the bends are rounded inside the pipe so that it will flow normally, and the external shape is just for looks. I'm sure the rear suspension can't function, but the bigger question is the front suspension, which doesn't have enough travel to do very much. The proportions look good, and the gas tank and engine look great, but I hate the seat, and I always hate those tires on principle, and it seems silly to have suspension and then not actually have it suspended. And of course the pipes are lame, with both the ripped off z thing, and also running the left pipe over to the "harley" side. Ok now this poor bike is crying somewhere, I hope we're all happy.
