tire hill, bent rims, and single cylinders

small edit/update. Proving that man is a far superior creature, Dan employed the use of tools to attempt to fix potato chip rim. Seems it worked well enough to get the 35 miles home.

Usually they say pictures dont do it justice...I have to say the pic of my rim does do it justice...looks like melted rubber. Time for a spoked rear wheel!

Didn't loose any pressure overnight. While they are the shittiest wheels I've ever ridden on, at least u can beat them back into submission. Also should be noted that it states clearly not to jump cast wheels on the site I used for making the wheel swap....found that last night.

Your wheels remind of the SNL skit from the 80's.

That those rims are so bent to fuck and still hold air points to them not being shitty at all!

Hahaha!! Just caught that video...seems about right.

A little update on the rims from a rim straightener. He asked if they were heated when they blasted them. Answer is yes...he said theyre scrap as they were annealed. Makes sense and cant believe I didnt think about that. Cant "work harden" them back so theyre trash!

I can't believe none of us thought of that. Though maybe Jay said something that first night we bent one trying to put on the tire. I always felt bad about that but now I know it was Yoders fault.
