Runs in the family

I've had these photos up before on a now defunct blog but thought I'd put them on this mecca of entertainment for everyone to see.  The first one is my dad hauling ass standing still on a Yamaha 305 with a sweet custom plywood and plexiglass fairing, 1969.  The second two are of the same gentleman making a roadside adjustment (possible swapping a melted spark plug?) on his Yamaha 125 in 1970.  Hipsters: note the pretty metalflake laying in the grass.

Actually it was made from corrugated cardboard clad with fiber glass. The windshield was slumped in my girl friends parents oven!
