Mama Tried through Dave

I suppose I'll dump what's in my phone out here.  Not too many pictures on my phone and I took zero with my camera even though I carried it everywhere. I think I had a beer in each hand the entire weekend and couldn't put one down to take a pic. I'm paying for it this week and came down with a bad cold. Here's what I got, just unloading everything I have that's not a video...

This is one of those interesting pictures I don't remember taking. I was lucky enough to be in the captains chair this time. Dave Z. shuttling us around the city at all hours in his van packed full of friends. One of the nicest dudes on this planet.

Mama Tried through the eye of my crummy phone.

Not sure if pinned or riveted

Pretty Stan Millard creation that stayed put all day

Note: There were more than just the 8 bikes documented here at the show, I have many excuses.

The party and ice racing

I was a bad blog contributer this weekend...only three shitty pics from the show. So heres some partying and some ice racing.

Such a great weekend and some super killer bikes but as always the best part is hanging out with friends.

I know Fisher took a bunch of pics from the show...perhaps he'll share.

Go-Go not Cry-Cry

Skuds Mckinley makes some pretty snazzy art type stuff.

Found by way of Ottonero.

buell pipe concepts...

It may come as a shock to you all, but I'm not really a fabricator, definitely more of a concept guy that likes to use tec screws, gooby stick welds, and a whole lot of praying.  That said, working on possibly eliminating the 50 pound torpedo exhaust. I have a line on a legimate after market Buell exhaust from a dude on the internet, but may very well try and jam a old supertrapp or cone or cherry bomb glass pack on this.  It's all good, cuz winter will NEVER end and we will all die frozen and alone anyways.

Finally wrapped up this hybrid Y-bike/guitar for work.
My pops was on the patent for the original, so it was a fun build.

Building a case for the beast and kicking it out the door for good once I get over this Mononucleosis shit.

soon we'll look back and laugh

at whatever hardships we push through, remembering only the highlights and laughs.
Despite how challenging it can be, it's good to have seasons, as they act as a grand metaphor of life.
Some days the sun shines on you.
Other days is -5 and glare ice, frost bite and wet feet.
now, to build an exhaust of some kind....

Kurtz's... Two Rivers Wisconsin changed hands from the family that started it 105 years ago to another investor. I hope it's not the end of an era. Spending my week up here and love the place.

Nevermind the quad

Then & now.

As long as there is internet and a truck

I will snap up a screamin deal on an 8 spoke VFR rim.  Even if it comes along with two snow covered possibly stolen basketcases in a trailer park in central Wisconsin.
