Stupid Races

Did race support for my dad and a friend of his last weekend.  The race is self supported, so I really was just there for mental support and vehicle taxiing.
They both ran 135 miles on snowmobile trails in northern MN.   You can either run, bike, or ski.  The average finish rate is 44%.

Cool stuff from the basement

I am constantly in awe of the all the people out there who put in massive amounts of time and energy to make wildly beautiful and original motorcycles, loaded with one off parts of their own design and construction.

Due to time and money constraints and my own general level of laziness I am not one of those people.  Once in a while though I manage to make a few flanges and brackets.  All of the parts I didn't make were just laying around in the basement, so that was nice.

this is made out of numbers

but it will be made out of the chunk of metal that's sitting on my dresser as soon as I get time to program the ballmill paths for the playing cards, dice, and tribal flames.

Punk vs Metal

I give you Arnocorps

and Austrian Death Machine

Apparently there is rivalry between the fans of these two bands.  I wonder which one Arnie likes better?

little steps with clown shoes...

Toying with the idea of using some shrouds.  I do realize this would bring about mixed opinions within the ranks, but what fun would it be if it didn't, right?

Sourcing the parts for the carb system proved to be a challenge. Re jetted, new o rings, heat shield and some voodoo magic, hopefully it'll run well.

Last weekend

Took the swingarm apart to sand/brush and made a starter button housing. Ben graciously came out to figure out TDC on the ignition and starter relocate. Thanks a bunch for the help dude!
