back in the fires!
And it feels good!
Three years away from the torch, needless to say, I'm a little rusty, but its coming back...

Eh?
Little lax on the posting there eh? I have every right to say that, I just spent several dayz in da Canada der eh visiting my Mom. Love her to death, here are some pictures...
Chippewa Falls about 40 miles north of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada in the Canadian Shield...
Crossing the bridge at the border of the US and Canada...
My girlfriends Dad's 1969 S/C Rambler-Hurst (Scrambler)...so rad. And he has several super rad shops around his house/cabin. Its in Marinette Wisconsin, so not really in da Canada der eh. We spent a couple days in Marinette on our vacation to Canada. Only 1512 S/C Rambler-Hurst's made according to AMC...he has 8 AMX's and a Rebel to top off the several other AMC's and hotrods. I bought him the emblems for his AMC Hornet for Christmas last year and I think he cried...he has no knowledge of the internet and thats where I bought them from. So old skool...I love it...
Her Dad's sick ass Ford Fairlane supercharged and has nitrous not yet piped in...
What else is new? Haven't done anything to the Triumph except buff up some aluminum. I've been building up my shop with other cool stuff. Here's the latest of what my shop looks like these dayz...new plasma cutter and other viewz...
So I'm going to have a video premier and just general hang out and drink some beer in my garage on Saturday December 12. I'll provide the 1/4 barrel of Pabst or some beer depending on how many show up, heat, a few chairs, and video on my small 13 inch TV of Harbortown Bobber (hinging on if it gets here by then).
Everyone is welcome. More info to come...

5 second animation...
Every couple weeks this dude from Grey Scale Gorilla has a five second animation challenge. He gives a broad subject and you make an animation for nothing but the sake making an animation and well, keep it five seconds or less. This weeks subject was "spooky-scary" due to helloween and shit. my entry...

Dino Jr
If you ever get a chance to see these guys play live, it is a must. Went to see them at The Majestic last night and J. Mascis and Lou Barlow destroyed the place. There is one thing you can definitely say about Dinasour Jr is that their sound has stayed consistant over the years and I like that. Their new album Farm has the same great sound the first albums do. I've been a fan of them since I was just a little skater kid and have always wanted to see them play. Sorry for the shitty mobile phone pic.

Punk before Punk was Punk
If you did or didn't know, African-Americans started most of what we know as punk music in America. Most think the African-American band Bad Brains from Washington DC started the music movement in the late 1970's, but another bands music has recently found its way into the mainstream. A recording was released last March that was previously traded on the underground of punk enthusiasts for hundreds of dollars. The album originally recorded in 1973, came from a Detroit band called Death. The more I listen to them, the more revolutionary they have become. Even the name of the band, which was considered terrible in its day, is revolutionary. Only seven songs on the EP, but amazing to say the least...

Three tips..
1. Shy People get nothing, and that’s what they deserve.
2. Act like the ‘person’ you want to be, not who you are.
3. Wake up every day and ask “What is it I really want to do?”
