This was the first real skateboard video I saw after I got into skating due to Back To The Future...it changed me forever and all I wanted to do was skate the streets. I love the opening quote: "200 years of American technology has unwittingly created a massive cement playground. It took the minds of 12 years-olds to realize its potential."
I was just over checking on CoC and see that Denver Dan had a nasty accident over the weekend. He was wearing all the right gear and still got banged up pretty good. I'm guilty of trying to be cool on the bike too not wearing a helmet, etc., but I am definitely in the market for a full facer sooner than later.

I ride rollerblades...
This is pretty appropriate right after the previous post. I will post the picture of my fixed gear. Well, not a hipster old 10 speed type. Its the only way to have a cruiser though. Traded in my other bike for this one. I'm getting old and it hurts my back riding the old bike, plus it never fit me right. I pick it up on Tuesday, just in time for the cold weather coming next week....fuuuuuucccckkkkk....

Another shitty cellphone pic...
Haven't had much time to post lately...I've been out enjoying the warmer weather. I actually road about 125 miles on the Harley on Saturday....so fun....did a little skateboarding...
Have you ever seen an Italian rockabilly band before? Me either until last Thursday night...
These dudes could barely speak english besides the American style music they imitated. It reminds me of one of my favorite bad 80's movies...Better Off Dead when the main character Lane Meyers talks about the Japanese dudes that drag race him all the time...they learned to speak english from the Wide World of Sports commentary Howard Cosell...

rock and roll....
Is alive and well in the small clubs, small towns, back rooms, basements and gutters. As long as there is struggle, conflict, challenging situations, and of course, chicks, rock and roll will survive. And thrive.
Ripp Winkler=really absolutely, incredibly, terrifically good.
to bad they're flakes and are on again off again, heh.

Mods vs Rockers
I haven't actually ever been to this, but it seems like fun even though I don't own a cafe racer or Vespa of any sort. I picked the flyer up at Fuel this past weekend. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if I tagged along on the Harley. Maybe next year if I'm here...there has been lots of talk of the "d" word in early 2010 lately though...deployment...
The Triumph build has come to somewhat of a halt at this exact moment. Making sure my kid can run high school track is the priority and very expensive! I am going to go pick up the side covers I had the chrome removed from in the next couple of days. I'll get the motor finished complete with mag right when I come back from Georgia. I'm still not sure if I'll use the frame...I would save alot of money, but I want to get it right the first time.
