A new direction
When the current fad of big thumpers and trail poaching wears off, or maybe just on a bored Sunday:
I could see this being a lot of fun in the snow...with small cc enduros....and Medflight on standby.

Testing new fancy fone.
Cleaned carbs, adjusted valves, changed plug. Leaving its mark where ever it goes, leaks, smokes, coughs and spots, generally bad ass.

Dirt
I took Tom's 250 out to the trails today. Lots of fun. On the way in I met these guys. They were happy, they just got a rabbit.
Somewhere near the end of my day I ended up in this giant hamster wheel:

クリスティン (Christine, roughly)
Got to spend some time getting the DR back on the road...only needs one turn signal bulb to pass inspection.
Like most things of mine, it now has patina, and is loved.

tire hill, bent rims, and single cylinders
small edit/update. Proving that man is a far superior creature, Dan employed the use of tools to attempt to fix potato chip rim. Seems it worked well enough to get the 35 miles home.

bucket list
Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail. Or TWAT.
I guess it depends on what kind of clapped out pos I have next summer, but this looks the business. 600 miles, Galena IL to lake Superior. Gravel roads, trails, and forest trails.
I know we've talked about it before. Ewan McGreggor and Charlie whatshisfaface'sname aint got nuthin on wisco.
facebook page
If you read the facebook and ADV pages, it wold make you think you needed a BMW or a DR to do this, I say rubbish. I thin a sportster with dual sport tires will be just fine :).

Really? More Bottles? yessir.
apologies for the poor sound quality and even more so for the cinematic experience, but it is punk rock after all.
