Not sure how the rest of you losers spent valentines day, my girl and I spent a romantic evening with the fucking CRUE! Thats right, old school. Really old school. These dudes have been around awhile, like 27 years or something. Free tickets, suite pass (dope seats with popcorn, pretzels, beers, and a private bathroom) and heavy vinyl to boot. Sorry, to busy throwing horns to take pictures. I'll tell ya though, full on show, except no rotating drum set :(...

Its been a hectic week, so thats why I haven't posted in a while. Spent alot of time in the garage, worked on getting a boat motor running for Crowbar, got wasted with Tom at the Redfang/Clutch show, and finished putting this on my car:



Seems simple enough eh? Its just a fucking trailer hitch and wire harness for a trailer, right? What a pain in the ass to install these on my car. There was no easy way, plus it was my first time so I made about 2000 mistakes and 5000 trips back and forth to the hardware store, I finally got it put on. I'm sure I could put one on in under a couple hours now. I bought a small utility trailer to haul my Harley to Georgia in a couple months and the Triumph when its done some day so I needed to get this done.

Anyway, I'm putting this up on here for a week to see if anyone wants to swipe this off me before I throw it up on egay. 65 bills plus shipping and its yours. Its a vintage Webco oil cooler for a Triumph pre-unit. I spent alot of time cleaning this up. Hand polished aluminum...

Does it seem like I post a lot about skateboarders and their motorcycles? I guess I do. Probably because it has to do with my two favorite past times. Anyway, have you seen this shit? Ian Barry built this bad ass one-of-a-kind custom with over 900 hours of fabrication time put into it. I am in complete aw of it. It won 2008 Custom Culture Award for best custom motorcycle at the Legend Of The Motorcycle International Concours d'Elegance. Jason Lee of ex-Blind and Stereo skateboards fame, not to mention famous actor, had the bike custom created by commission by Falcon Motorcycles. Ian also built an amazing bike for Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. You can check it out on Falcon Motorcycles website.

New addition to the garage/shop. After talking with one of my friends this past weekend it got me thinking, alot, so I took the plunge.



Its MIG and I got argon for shielding gas, so no flux core wire.

Spent the night playing with this radness and practicing welds and polishing aluminum.

I got the engine cases back and kind of just threw a quick mock up on the engine stand. I am going to polish the aluminum primary, gearbox, and tranny covers. As you can tell from the photos, I still have one chrome plated rocker box from a '71. Still looking for a non-chromed (or if it is, not a big deal) all fins in there place, 1963-70, Unit 650, carb side rocker box (anyone? anyone?). I've made some offers to people over the web, no bites yet. I still have other options and a long way to go, so no big hurry. Yes, I know, I have the exhaust side rocker box on the carb side in the picture, whatever. Bailey Motorsports did a great job on them though and did more than I asked at way below the normal cost of the work done. I really appreciate it John! I picked up some new Allen screws for the side covers, rocker box inspection caps (raw aluminum polished), and Morgo tappet blocks for the cylinders since I broke one of them (I'm such an amateur). Looking for someone to do some de-chroming on some of the stuff I have. I had John try to sandblast it off, but it was too thick in places. I've read how to do it and would honestly attempt it myself, but don't want to deal with the chemical mess afterwords. I'll leave it to the pro's. Here's what I got...







When its all done, I'm going to test start it like the dude did with the hand built Enfield.

And yes, I still ride my skateboard and do other shit. I just feel like posting motorcycle shit lately. Leave me alone.

Handbuilt Engine

Apparently this dude built this by hand...a Royal Enfield V Twin. Designed it in CAD and had someone cast it for him and he did all of the machining himself, and had never machined anything in his life. Learned everything as he went along. Pretty crazy...
