MKE Haze

Don't remember much from Mama Tried weekend.   Know I invited a handful of people to go out to Bonneville and try to beat my record.  All competition is good competition.

Now on to the photos.

Great weekend, amazing turn out at the show, and above all quality time with top notch family and friends.

Was honored to be a part of this years lineup.  Can't wait for next year!

Watch it with that buffer will ya...

I probably shouldnt have used the heavy cut buffing compound.

Thank You Aaron!

Aaron did a killer job machining me an in temp gauge fitting. I did some final shaping and finishing.

Thanks a bunch dude!

it's not what you ride

but how you ride it.

This kid kicked everyones ass on a bike 28 years older than all others it's class.  It was his dad's bike. Dad said if he could start it, he could ride it (when he was 10).

Stupid Races

Did race support for my dad and a friend of his last weekend.  The race is self supported, so I really was just there for mental support and vehicle taxiing.
They both ran 135 miles on snowmobile trails in northern MN.   You can either run, bike, or ski.  The average finish rate is 44%.

Cool stuff from the basement

I am constantly in awe of the all the people out there who put in massive amounts of time and energy to make wildly beautiful and original motorcycles, loaded with one off parts of their own design and construction.

Due to time and money constraints and my own general level of laziness I am not one of those people.  Once in a while though I manage to make a few flanges and brackets.  All of the parts I didn't make were just laying around in the basement, so that was nice.
