The engine is actually in the back on this bug. I just found it interesting. I added the pic to the original post... I prefer the air cooled baja bugs also, don't get me wrong, just cool to see people fucking up perfectly good vehicles.
I want info, I didn't see any on the bcm site. Such as what engine is that sticking out the back, and is there any new vw parts left other than the body pieces? It looks like it must have a tubular frame connecting all that suspension and for the engine cage to attach to. Anyway, I like it.
Wow, there are several more stock looking new beetles that have been baja'ed a bit when I did a google search for "new beetle baja". I wonder how the stock front wheel drive thing actually works off road?
