Yes they will. They will collect dust and then get worked by wind current and low flying buzzards hitting the front tire, and then the fork oil will run up your fork from the wind and get all over your brand new number plate, which will really piss you off, and next thing you know you're shaking your fist at some poor old picnicker who was just trying to shake out his table cloth.
