This picture is confusing to me. The cars are new, the prices are from the mid-80's I'd guess. There is a phone booth and an old Gulf sign in the background, but a digital coupon card sign on a contemporary light post. The prices perhaps shopped? (but why, the HELL part is cool as is...)

Maybe the gas station is not a gas station anymore and no one bothered to take down the old signs.
well, so much for my photoshop conspiracy, that makes perfect sense.
