Fresh off the showroom floor.
Bye-bye lame Suzuki graphics.
After the new tail section, under peg pipe and new tire break-in.
Its current incarnation.
All-in-all the wheel changeover went OK...need a bigger chain (just a tad short with the larger rear sprocket) and one spacer was machined to the wrong spec. It wouldnt be any damn fun at all if it went perfect...

Dude that thing looks great! I didn't know you would have them on so quick!
what kind of pipe is that?
Its a Staintune. I got lucky and got the pipe and muffler from Deus. They used to build custom DR street-trackerish bikes and had an old exhaust laying around their shop so I snagged it up.
It's lookin hot!
Do those side panels come off?
Oh they will come off...with a grinder and a cutting wheel! I have been toying with the idea as well. They hide a fair amount of stuff though so I would have to relocate a few things, the battery being one of them.
Anyone have any thoughts on a fender? I have a hugger but dont like it and I def dont like the motard fenders. Prolly have to build one out of alum...
For the fender, beer cans tigged together??? Otherwise, I have a couple random fenders you might be able to chop up into something usable.
When I removed the side covers on the Suzuki (permanently, ground off the mounting tabs) I built a new battery box from aluminum that looks nice but still sits in the stock position. Worth a thought for this.
Hey it's on Sideburn's blog! G
Awesome job. Gotta get rid of my zook's graphics too!
Hey let me know if you ever want to sell those wheels, about to try and have my brother find some in South Korea.
