Just something I saw driving home from Ben's yesterday. Baja beetle for sale. $3200.
1/2 pound burger with a 1/2 pound brat patty on top. I had a good relationship with mine, but I think Tom's tried to kill him. I also had a pretty good relationship with the potato salad, and someone's fries I finished.
Needs tires and I'm sure a bunch more. Don't you think $3200 is a bit much? Whats the going rate for a 6 out of 10 baja these days? I want it also, in a bad way.
According to the window sign, it has a lot of new parts. Just ratty looking. If I ever get one, it will be my goal to make it look totally nice. Not like anything I've owned. Like a california car. Flashy paint, chrome, all that.
And I have no idea what it's worth just that I want it. I'd be happy with a stock one, though, since I actually want to use modified original body parts instead of the aftermarket fiberglass kit stuff.

Yeah, 3200 is too much. Seems like everything old and German is overpriced.
