I wanted to a pattern for making the aluminum version so I went to a taxidermy supply house naturally. They have large chunks of carving foam for cheap.

Goodbye Gertie
Best 4-wheeled vehicle I ever had and I kept it the longest by far too. Brought home and moved around many motorbikes, vintage cast iron machines, compressors, compost, straw, plants, giant pumpkins, all of my possessions upon hasty exit from a former domicile, you name it. Somehow, over the span of years I managed to only make a few sensible modifications and not tinker and chop it into oblivion.
If the new owner gets a fraction of the use I did out of her with as few problems as I had, he got the deal of a lifetime.

Well, I'd say this is the end of the Alley Sweeper in portland...
Due in large part to the crack news team at KOIN, channel 6 (Portland OR)
I really wanted to go this year, but could not work it out logistically, dodged a bullet here!
Lets do something like this here, please?

First signs of spring...
fuck that little bitch, the robin, I got my post card for the BBC. I get a little hung-over just thinking about it.
Year of the Monkey. 2014
Mazeppa Madness
Stewart McLaren-Scotland |
Rick Doplhens....I guess somebody had to bring the token mystery red booze but these were over freshly shaved ice. |
Ashley Bishop-UK taking some moonshine down the ice luge |
Dave Correl |
The next morning...Ash, Scott Telfer (Scotland), & Stewart |
The trip for me was short and so sweet. Great to see old friends. If you're ever near Mazeppa, MN stop in and say hi to Mike Meyer, he is a one of kind....and his shop is pure gold.
Thanks Mike!
