What's the sand for?
Sand is likely for packing the tube to avoid wrinkles/deformities . . . jeez it looks brilliant mate, killer job.
Correct WLP. I like to use it to keep tubing round when heat bending but you have make sure the tube is packed absolutely full then capped off. Works great
Try it with wet sand some time. Then you can see how far your end caps will go through drywall, or flesh!
Yeah, old school method but works killer, my partner used to do all his custom header pipes that way.
