Droooooool
This is just a repost from Bike EXIF. As all 3 readers of this blog know, I have a soft spot for BMW airhead boxers. A bike like this makes my soft spot get ROCK HARD. I wonder if boxers drag their valve covers on the flat track? Video here.

working as a graphic designer you learn what the dip-shits want and you give it to 'em. Well, this time the dip-shit is me and I need some objective opinions, so have at it Hoss....

Occasionally...
I feel like I get a good deal on shit. Picked up this Harley 21 incher for 39 bucks. 40 spoke center hole...simple. This winter I need to recruit Tommy or Max Wedge to help me lace it up with some 21 inch Sportster stainless spokes to my Harley midglide hub. Need a tire and tube and a little fork work done by Forking by Frank and I'll have a 21 on the front of my Dyna...sweet.

and my favorite, most inspiring thing of the whole nite..
This young man (though it's hard to see) has a prosthetic arm (right). He jams that Ducati like no ones bizness. Next time I'm feeling sorry for myself and get a little whiney I'll look at this dude and Harden the Fuck Up

after two budweisers and a "homemade" hot dog
I saw this relatively stock KX, but with a comstar front wheel! Very subtle, but a rad treatment none the less.

Really wish you guys were here....
REALLY wish we were all here at this, there's another one this summer yet and hopefully we can all go together. Ben and I had a hoot. It was loud, dirty, grassroots, and fully bad ass.
much appologies for the shitty pics. I suck at pic taking.
old guy carving his tires...respect.
saucy little BSA.
Probably my favorite bike of the night, a heavy hittin' blast...
more to come...

what I've been working on
I'm almost done with this. I was able to string it up and play it today, and I even stuffed a pickup in there and temporarily wired it to my amp. I expected this to be an interesting sound I might use just now and then, but it blew me away. I didn't expect this at all. It might be the best sounding electric guitar I've ever heard. Or I might be overreacting due to my surprise. But I really love this sound, it's amazing. I've never heard something with the attack and character of a hollowbody, yet with this much sustain. It has big bell-like bass, and sweet treble that's not at all harsh like I thought it'd be. It sounds huge. It is huge, I think it's 20 lbs. It's the heaviest guitar I've ever played for sure. The block that the neck bolts to is from 1/4" plates welded into a box and is super heavy duty. I had to use MIG to weld stuff to it just to get decent penetration because it's such a heat sink, but all the other body welds you can see are oxy-ac.

No more sleepy nuts
Seat fun continued...
Scrim-back foam glued to leather and stitched around the perimeter.
Sewing straight lines...steady now...
Riveting on the cover.
Hey, it's a seat. Imagine that.

Seat progress
Cured pan as it came off the bike....came off pretty easy...
Mounting hardware glassed in, pan has been trimmed and sanded smooth(ish)...
...the hardware fits but it's weird. No one but me will figure out how to get this seat off.
Foam glued on and shaped, it's a hack job but who will see it?
More soon.....

stolen..
from Suicide Wheels who stole it from somewhere who got it from someone in Japan. Cool bike and pretty bad ass riding.
It's only a couple of minutes, what else have you got to do right? Bullshit, no one here has anything more important than watching a chopper video from Japan, so stfu and watch it.
word.

Sweet Green Bay Iron
So I know how much Tommy loves the Green Bay Packers and how much he loves motorcycles...so why not combine the two? Don't get so excited you pee your pants when you see that football painted air cover or the Super Bowl Champs on the hard bags there buddy... I saw this outside a bar we stopped to eat in New Glarus a few weeks ago.

Garage Day
Tom came over a week or so ago and started to cut shit off his Yamaha and weld some new stuff on.
The start of cutting... Where's your gloves Tommy?
Then Dennie came over on his nicely patina'd Triumph...
Tom's somewhat finished product looking alot lighter and cleaned up in the rear end...
The end.
