It lives
Still some small issues, no sweat. I'm pretty sure it was Dan's XS headlight that made it go. Time to put it back together and move on to the VFR.

Winter is all right for a while, thanks to the internet and heated garages.

Bandit XXR
Picked one of these up...I'll have to wait 8 months to wear it, but I've read good things and of course it has its critics. Made in Germany, fiberglass shell, DOT and SNELL ratings...and I dig the style of it though I've seen some very well done airbrush jobs that aren't my style at all.

Kaboom
Over the weekend, the pig in my garage exploded (more)
Does this remind you of that scene from The Wall?
Doesn't look half bad with all that fiberglass out of the way.

Its things like these...
...that make it a good day. Bill Ray book and my first issue of Lowside Mag...fucking sweet! Thanks Tommy! It definitely helps the time go by here and keeps me day dreaming...
Leaving the French Army post in the north...the Germans heading into the danger zone in their APC...highway to the danger zone.....I'll take you ridin' into the daaaaaaanger zoooooone! Kenny Loggins was a genius. We went the other direction.
We got snow...wish I could go hike up that mountain. Forced sobriety makes me want to do strange things.

Random photo's...
...from the road since I've been here. Most are from today...some I took last week. From the most polluting energy plant in this part of the world (400 times worse than what is acceptable anywhere else) that made my eyes burn to checking out radio equipment of ours on the top of a mountain and getting stuck for several hours behind a locals truck that slid into the ditch due to a freak snow storm and vertical drop off and horrible roads...
...this is my adventure.

Squeeze the alum
EDIT: One A couple of many reasons why I don't donate money despite the UW's persistent requests:
Also because all of my spare cash is tied up in motorcycle parts and beer.
