V is for valvendeta
I guess experience with a particular bike will help figure chit out as ¥ou go. Adjusted the valves tonight and they were spot on according to the specs from the book.
Took the bike for a hot lap and it made no difference at all.
Does this mean I'm good? I REALLY don't wanna grenade this fucker, it'd break my fragile little heart. Oh well, fuck it, let's ride.

Umm, not sure, but...
I don't think they are supposed to look like this?
Long day of literally going backwards, but hopefully in the end will result in having little details done correctly.
My pet frog provided a little comic relief.

inspiration
for me at least.
Afraid I don't have any info on who built it or when (though I suspect it's newer despite the tricky iphone old photo aps and all) but I dig the stance and think you could really pull in the birds with a classy whip such as this.
found on chop cult (does this make me gay?)

the preppers
you see on tv are going to be FUCKED when it really happens.

In the post-apocalyptic world there will be no fancy reserve switches on home-built motorcycles. There will be black death. The strong will not survive, but the smart, light, fast, and clever will.
hopefully bungee cords, mentos, and ditch weed will survive.

I hacked through the spring like a beaver with a rusty tooth...

Not cooperating in the going back together department.
COuld I possibly get a spring the length I need with flat ends at madison spring?
Seems nobody makes a 9.5 or even a 10" shock. pussies.
Went to play with my bike yesterday to discover something horrible has happened within my electrical system. I turn the key on and instantly fry the main 15a fuse. New and mysterious issue to say the least. (though not surprising by the looks of the rat chewed harness. Gonna gut it and re-wire next up.)
fun fun.

creative tank mounting...
if Dave can use a truck, then I'm using a wheel.

run what you brung and use what you have. Frankly, after the zombie apocalypse, you'll all be glad I'm around.

Found this on chop cult, but it was built by a dude name Keron Grant. I likey. Not exactly sure how I'm going to molest my beautiful, new to me, sex machine 750, but this style is definitely in the running...

so this kid comes into my sign shop this morning..
with his buddy to have his monster truck, rock crawler toyota thing lettered. My co-worker is talking with them, no big deal. Then I notice they head in back and are checking out Kris's bike so I go to chat with them. This kid starts going on and on about old hondas and how he has this and he has that, yeah dude, we've all heard this before ;). Then he tells me how he now has a 71 CB750 that he wheelies "all day long". at this point I call bullshit, they're just to heavy, etc. etc... Then the other quiet guys steps up and tells me he has video of it, fucking a, gotta love the iphone! So he emailed to me and now I share it with you. One foot on the passenger peg, other foot feathering the break and a nice sunny day. Neat video. Hope this works...
