Omens, Signs, and Superstitions...
You all think I'm a hippy already anyways, so what dif does it make anymore? Leaving for work this morning, less than a block from my house I saw this feather on the road. Turned around and picked it up. It's gonna be back in the breeze again. Feathers are powerful and sacred to many people, I think they're kinda cool.
Then at lunch, I was heading to the grocery store and on of all places- hwy 51 (stoughton road) I see this wheel. I know it's only one, but you can't let a wheel go by and not risk your neck to get it, right? Dave will appreciate that it does not even have a flat spot. I'll incorporate it on my bike somehow.
More work came in my door today than in the past six months. Suddenly I'm on the verge of panic busy. It hit 115 degrees in my shop today and we have three solid more months of this. time to figure something out...

Dang Tom...did you take a few too many hits off the ol' peace pipe this morning? And that is definitely amazing to find a round wheel on the side of the road...but even more so if its a Spitfire. Those suckers flat spot in the first 15 minutes of riding them.
That looks like a Coopers hawk tail feather. Nice find!
I'm secretly a stinky hippie as well Tom, dont tell anyone...that does make a nice addition to the Honda!
