Thursday Nights Just Got Better
I think Denny just showed Dave his junk. |
While we all knew Mr Oates made is home from his 13 month deployment safe and sound but we werent expecting to see him for a few days. It was going to be just another regular Thursday night circle jerk until we received intel that our presence was requested at the local watering hole and low and behold there was Dave Oates. Great to see you again and welcome home...and thanks to your lovely wife for sharing you last night!

seems a lifetime ago
that I studied animation. Currently in the process of changing computers at work and came across this, I made it from scratch about two years ago. pardon the sloppy character animation, its just for fun. Also, it's only like 22 seconds or something, not a huge commitment...

light: 1/2
Getting there...Thanks Aaron for the number plate. Light is a utility light for a tractor. It's burley, but a bit heavier than I'd like. Need a line on a 6v AC regulator now. If I rev the motor, the bulb blows. Looking for suggestions.
Now need to rig up a brake light.

Improvement?
Sorry to keep posting gross pictures but this one was too gross to pass up.
I can move a little better today but that sucker is getting uglier by the hour.
Got the DR picked up today (thanks Tom), looked at it...probably over $1000 in damage.
The great benefit of having too damn many broken motorcycles is you can get another one back on the road in a pinch. The VFR lives!

T-bone
Here's how I look after t-boning a bicycle that ran a stop sign last night. The bicyclist got a broken leg. Could easily have been a lot worse.

whoa...
my noodle is gonna be just that much more prepared for the impending apocalypse.
I guess it's only fitting that my new helmet is worth considerably more than any of my motorcycles. Thank you kind folks at Icon, this is a mind blower...
Going back a few, my quest for this particular style of helmet goes back a ways.
check out this little review I did on a cheapo knock off
