whoa...
my noodle is gonna be just that much more prepared for the impending apocalypse.
I guess it's only fitting that my new helmet is worth considerably more than any of my motorcycles. Thank you kind folks at Icon, this is a mind blower...
Going back a few, my quest for this particular style of helmet goes back a ways.

Funny stuff Tom, went and read the rather scathing review, nothing worse than a shit lid and nothing better than a good fit with a good one, I'm labouring over a new full face purchase as we speak, twenty years from the old Giga is about done, but having a head like a cinder block I've only ever had an Arai fit well but I love the look of the Bell carbon fibre jigger, however, from experience with my Bell open face models, they're a small, made in China fit . . . love the shot with your stock in trade illuminating the lid's manly sensuality . . . cheers buddy.
thanks for the words WLP, always a pleasure :). I too like the new carbon Bells, but have not tried one on. And I suspect you're right about the China part, just seem to reasonably priced to not be slave made. The photo is me NOT working at work, and I really should be working, at least a little. I'll come back with a report of the ICON in a few days after I get some real miles on it.
