it's just a little underground...
Found on Pacmans Line and Letter blog. He contributes over at CoC, but his personal blog is his sign work. Really good stuff. Respect.

Updates Yo!
So I've been gone for a while...haven't really posted anything, and frankly this post has nothing to do with what most of the site is about, but its my life for a little while and I'll post up shit that I experience. I've finally made it to my destination to support freedom of movement and peace for a nation (i hope). We aren't allowed to drink or have fun most days, but one day while we were still doing training in Germany they did let us loose on the city of Nuremberg Germany before we headed over. Again not drinking, meaning not as fun as it could have been, so I walked some 20 miles and checked out most of the downtown, bought a pair of red steel toe 14-hole Doc's, and took pictures, drank lots of coffee, and ate food. I spent most of the day by myself, it was nice to get away from all of the people I'm here with all of the time and go and do what I wanted to do. Nuremberg has an interesting history and was the center of Hitlers Third Reich. The city was leveled during WW2 leaving almost 90% destroyed. Amazingly many of the old churches still stand and a castle I visited that was built in the 1200's. I was trying to make my way to the Museum for Industrial Culture which had a shit-ton of German motorcycles dating back to the beginning, but couldn't find the place to save my life.
A "real" bratwurst...or what an original one is anyway. Bratwurst can be several different types of sausage in Deutschland so I learned...not necessarily what Johnsonville would call a brat. Some statues and art around the downtown area. Some skateboarding stuff... Looks like a rad spot! Lunch and dinner one day during training. The chicken pesto one sucked sack... Anti-military protest downtown...lots of mohawks. One guy was carrying a large puppet that said "Universal Soldier" on it. The cops on BMW's escorting the protestors... The city... For Tommy and Ben...in case you want to spend a 140.00 on some Lego's instead of the real deal. The Hooger Booger... A waste of a perfectly good Indian...just throw some lame European fashions all over it in the window of some shop. Laters!

Good engineering
When I was getting to know the VFR I had great reservations about the complexity of the bike. As I take it apart I appreciate more and more the engineering and design work that went into this machine. This wiring harness has 1000 times the function and 1/10th the complexity of the last one I tore into( the GS1000). A place for everything and everything in it's place. That's Honda engineering, in my estimation.

Someone needs to go test ride this bike...
...and tell me what kind of mustache this guy has. And, what kind of van he drives. Best part: "...that I believe is tastfull" (sic)

I thought I was going to get some paying work done today....
...then I got these sexy bitches. A few puffs for my head and a cig and I'll have a good plan for the top mount in order. Thanks to Pierre Vaillancourt at WP for setting me up all proper like.
In it, to win it...
It's been a little challenging to create posts here. Half of the page is in German and it takes me a bit to figure out what I need to click to post something. I can't even read enough to change the language or find where to change it. And I'm sick of getting these trying to watch Youtube videos...

Natas Kaupas animation
Dave, this one hits home. I'm sure you've skated on at least half of these decks. Myself, as a wanna be animator and long ago wanna be skater, am completely blown away. Hate to use this word again, as it looses it's punch, but fuckin a, this is as good as it gets.

What a nice weekend
Starting with a real classy wedding...a spot was saved for Mr. Oates
Then on to some work. If you ever questioned that a VFR has a motor under all that plastic and hoses, here it is. Turns out it's a rather attractive V-4.
I was unaware that the VFR had air injection. It doesn't anymore.
Keepers (for now) on the left, dead weight on the right.
Xing Fu forever!
